Kenny Scher oversees practice leadership for Nexera’s financial improvement, operations improvement, and clinical engagement services. He has served as an advisor to numerous provider organizations, among them leading academic health centers, accountable care organizations, integrated health systems, community hospitals, and non-acute care facilities. Kenny has extensive experience working in healthcare supply chain as well as in fiscal, operations, and technology healthcare advisory services. While providing advisory services to a wide array of organizations, he has developed integrated performance improvement solutions to identify and implement comprehensive, sustainable transformation strategies. His work has focused on increasing and transforming supply chain operations, cost reduction, increasing revenue, improving workflow processes, and increase cash flow. Through his involvement in multiple client engagements, he has built a reputation as an innovative, agile leader.
Kenny is a veteran speaker and has presented nationally at the HFMA Annual Conference, IDN Conference and Reverse Expo, AHRMM (Association for Health Care Resource and Materials Management), Premier, OR Business Manager Conference, and local ARHMM chapters as well as with Modern Healthcare. He was also a primary contributor to the Nexera book The Healthcare Supply Chain: Best Practices for Operating at the Intersection of Cost, Quality, and Outcomes. Additionally, he has authored articles that have been published by Becker’s Hospital Review, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, AHRMM’s Supply Chain Strategies & Solutions, and Premier. In 2019, Kenny was honored as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Rising Stars: 66 Leaders in Healthcare under 40.”
